From €3,000 per person, without international flights. It includes the domestic flight to Príncipe, 6 nights with breakfast (2 at Hotel Omali and 4 at Bom Bom Resort), all transfers, an agency guide, a 4x4 with driver and one excursion a day on Príncipe. The final price depends on the season and hotel availability.
No. We are a local agency in São Tomé and handle everything from your arrival. Most couples fly via Lisbon with TAP or STP Airways, about 6h30; we can help you pick the right flight to match the programme.
June to September is the dry season, and humpback whales pass from July to October. November to February is turtle season on the beaches. The islands welcome couples all year round.
Because that is where the romance is: a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, almost deserted beaches, untouched forest and Bom Bom Resort with its private islet. São Tomé is for arriving and leaving at an easy pace, at Hotel Omali.
EU citizens do not need a visa for tourist stays of up to 15 days. A passport valid for at least 6 months is enough. Other nationalities should check with us before booking.
No vaccines are compulsory if you travel directly from Europe. We recommend a travel health consultation before you go, especially for malaria prevention.
Yes. São Tomé and Príncipe is one of the most peaceful countries in Africa, with little crime and very welcoming people. Our team is on the ground throughout your trip.
Breakfast every day and a romantic snack at Agulhas Bay. Lunches and dinners are taken at the hotel restaurants and paid locally, so you are free to choose.
Yes: extra nights on Príncipe or São Tomé, a private dinner by the sea, a couples massage or room decoration on arrival. Tell us what you have in mind and we will arrange it before you arrive.
A typical local meal costs under €15 per person: grilled octopus, peixe-azeite or croaker, massada with grouper, arroz à moda da terra (rice the local way) or tuna. Grouper (cherne), the island’s most prized fish, costs over €15 per person. These are the everyday dishes, as Sao Tome cooking is mostly fresh fish. Meat is available too, but most of it is imported: if it matters to you, let us know in advance and we will arrange it.
Drinks are not included on our tours, except on a few special trips such as Christmas or the New Year’s Eve dinner. They are cheap: the local Rosema beer costs about 25 dobras (around €1) in many places, and 75 dobras or more in hotels, just over €3.
